We spoke to Open Minds and they recommended LifeKeeper from SteelEye Technology. It manages the system and, if the active node crashes, automatically fails over to the second node.

By Public Transport
West Bromwich is served by very good public transport links including the metro from Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Bus routes from all over the West Midlands stop at West Bromwich bus station a few minutes’ walk from The Public and it is just a five-minute bus or taxi ride from Sandwell & Dudley railway station. If you take the metro, get off at West Bromwich Central and follow the pink signs to the building. By Car
We’re about a mile from Junction 1 of the M5, in West Bromwich town centre. There are plenty of car parks close to the venue; the nearest car park is less than a 30 second walk from the building!
There is disabled parking on New Street adjacent to The Public along with a drop off point at the entrance to the building.
From South (London)
Head toward the M1 and continue on this until Junction 19. At Junction 19 take the exit onto M6 towards Coventry (north)/ Birmingham, continue onto M6 do not take the M42 or M6 Toll Road. At junction 8 of the M6, exit onto M5 (signposted for B'ham W/B'ham S/W Bromwich). At junction 1 of M5, take the A41 exit to W Bromwich/Sandwell/B'ham (N W).
Turn Right at Birmingham Rd/A41 (signs for West Bromwich) take exit sign posted for Park Inn/ Premier Travel Inn. Filter right at lights, turn left onto West Bromwich Ring way and The Public will be on your left.
From North (Manchester/Leeds)
Follow signs for M621/ M62 continue on M60 at Junction 12 exit onto M62 towards B’ham/ Chester/ M6. At junction 10 exist onto M6 (S)/ signposted Birmingham/ Chester/ M56 - merge onto M6.
At junction 11a, exit onto M6 towards B’ham/ The S W/ M5. Stay left at junction 8 of the M6 existing onto the M5 follow signs for Birmingham (W & S/ West Bromwich). At junction 1 take the A41 exist to W Bromwich/ Sandwell/ B’ham (N W).
Turn Right at Birmingham Rd/A41 (signs for West Bromwich) take exit sign posted for Park Inn/ Premier Travel Inn. Filter right at lights, turn left onto West Bromwich Ringway and The Public will be on your left.

Please use the pay and display car park situated on Queen Street (B70 7PJ).
