LifeKeeper Gives Excellent Results
Our configuration means that the application doesn’t notice when SteelEye LifeKeeper fails over Oracle – therefore we get very close to zero downtime.

This solution will replicate ALL of your Windows server, including the C: drive in real-time, to a backup server. The backup server can be on your LAN or in another location, across a WAN.
The replication traffic is minimised as only changes to data are replicated to the backup server after the initial synchronisation.
Recovery will require a manual procedure, where applications are brought up manually on the backup server manually when the active server goes down. Used for those environments where a certain amount of downtime is acceptable.
